St. John has an active music department. The only requirement is a love of music. Skills range from those not able to read music to those with college degrees in music. Groups rehearse weekly (Wednesday afternoons and evenings) and participate in services on a rotating basis. Solos, duets and small ensembles, both instrumental and vocal, are welcome additions to the schedule. The large ensembles include:

Proclaim! Worship Team - provides music for our Proclaim! worship services - the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 10:30 a.m. If you are interested in being a part of this group - singing, playing an instrument or helping with the sound system - they'd love to have you join them. Organists and Accompanists - Anyone who plays organ or piano and would like to be available for weddings and/or funerals or as an accompanist should contact the church office at 524-4516, or any of the choir directors.
