THE
SON
The
central window of the chancel windows contains the figure of Jesus
Christ set upon a symbolic form of the cross of redemption and there
we see the words "Come Unto Me." |
|
|
THE
FATHER
Above
the figure of Christ is placed a symbol of God the Father as the
One who blesses. (Hand in attitude of benediction). The
three Extended fingers suggest the Holy Trinity, while the two closed
fingers denote the twofold nature of the Son.
|
THE
HOLY SPIRIT
On
top is the dove signifying the Holy Spirit, and the Presence of God
as hovering over the water at creation, and upon Jesus at baptism,
thus incorporating the Host. |
