St. John has many opportunities for members of the congregation to participate in lay ministries. Use of the phase "something for everyone" is very appropriate.

Members who feel comfortable in front of groups might want to volunteer as lectors or communion assistants, or participate in any of St. John's music ensembles.

Those who prefer less visibility are invited to be radio monitors, members of the Altar Guild, serve with any of St. John's boards and committees, provide refreshments for Sunday fellowship, help with seasonal decorations...

People are always welcome to join the usher and greeter teams. And, of course, the youth and education departments have many needs and opportunities for anyone who wishes to share their time and talents.
